We are currently recruiting on behalf of a key client who are looking for a Software Engineer experienced in C on Linux and a background in DPDK. 

This is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leader where you’ll work within an expert Engineering Team to develop software applications that will enable to the compliant roll out of 5G mobile network technology. 

The company raised over £20million in new investment a little over 18 months ago, so this is a great time to join. 

Responsibilities for the role of Software Engineer will include: 

• Design, test and implement software applications and systems for new and future products 
• Estimate and work towards timescales whilst delivering best in class software  
• Promote quality-oriented activities necessary to deliver products to a global tier-1 client base 

As the selected Software Engineer, your skills and experience should include: 

• Educated to Degree level in Computer Science or an equivalent subject 
• Strong experience in Data Plane Development Kit 
• Strong C programming for Linux based systems 
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-discipline team 
• Ability to respond to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment 

Desirable skills / skills you can develop within the role: 

• Python programming 
• JavaScript programming
