Are you an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in C++ and ready for a fresh new challenge? Are you interested in utilising the latest technologies? Would you like to develop software used by film directors, cinematographers and visual effects artists? If yes, I’m working on a Software Engineer requirement for an extremely exciting technology developer that could be of interest.

Responsibilities for the role of Software Engineer will include:

• Write new code and migrate legacy components to new architectures
• Integrate third-party components and build functionality
• Participate in code reviews and internal audits with a focus on security
• Design and implement APIs for libraries and services
• Mentor other members in your areas of expertise
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of software

• Industry experience and success developing complex software
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• Experienced in object-oriented concepts and design patterns
• Knowledge of Modern C++ (11 onwards), STL, Boost C++, git version control
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ideally, you’ll have experience working with a distributed/remote team
