Senior Simulation Engineer – Motors
As the selected Senior Simulation Engineer, you’ll role report to the Head of Software (Ex Microsoft) where you’ll work across new product development and research at the intersection of Physics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence to create technology that will drive further electrification of the Planet.
You will take a lead role for running simulations of novel designs of electric motors, whilst keeping the technical and commercial teams informed about the most promising developments. You’ll evaluate and use different simulation solutions and identify potential applications to the problems they are solving, then advise the team about how to best utilise them.
Desirable skills / skills you can develop within the role:
We are extremely excited to be recruiting for a Senior Simulation Engineer on behalf of a truly interesting, disruptive and heavily invested start-up in Cambridge that are utilising AI to revolutionise industrial design.
As the world is electrifying, electromagnetism drives this change by powering movement and producing clean energy. My client is building the deepest understanding and control of electromagnetism to deliver optimal physical and electrical designs. The immediate focus is to optimise electric motors, but the tools they are developing can be used within clean energy generation, aviation and robotics.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Simulation Engineer to join one of the most exciting start-ups in Cambridge.
