We are extremely excited to be working with a rapidly growing, truly innovative data analytics technology developer who have grown from a team of four to over one hundred employees in five years.

They are continuing their expansion on the back of a number of successful projects and securing major global partnership, and are looking for a Senior Python Developer to help drive the company’s capabilities forward.

This is a truly amazing opportunity for an experienced Python Developer to join an organisation that is destined for great things.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Python Developer will include:

• Write performant, reusable, well documented code within a rapidly growing code base
• Collaborate with the backend teams to help define APIs and architecture
• Work effectively within the global team to implement new applications, platforms and features
• Coordinate with team-members to ensure timely delivery of software
• Help the Product Managers/Scrum Masters in understanding technical implementation considerations for features on the back log, providing estimation and guidance
• Advise on technologies and evolving techniques to the benefit of the products

As the selected Senior Python Developer your skills and knowledge should include:

• Strong programming background in Python
• Experience with REST APIs
• Linux knowledge (from a developer’s perspective) highly desirable
• Familiarity with relational databases
• Git experience
• Conscious of best practice for security and scalability
• Familiarity with server-side software concepts and cloud applications

Senior Python Developer – £55,000 to £75,000 – Plus an excellent benefits package that includes 50% stock options.
