My client is a genuine industry leader in the design and manufacture of telecommunication solutions and devices supplied to a global client base.  

They are going through a huge period of growth and have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager.  

The successful Project Manager will report directly to the VP of Engineering and will lead expert Engineering Teams made up of Hardware, FPGA and Embedded Software Engineers to deliver products that will enable to the compliant roll out of 5G mobile network technology. 

Responsibilities for the role of Project Manager will include: 

• Lead multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver new products and features 
• Plan, budget and manage complex projects in line with an established process 
• Lead and motivate the project team to deliver on the plan and meet objectives 
• Work closely with Product Management to define roadmap 
• Lead engineering teams to conceptualise and evaluate potential product implementations with associated trade-offs 
• Line management and recruitment support  

As the selected Project Manager, your skills and experience should include: 

• Educated to Degree level 
• Project management experience of complex electronic products 
• Able to communicate effectively to engineers, sales teams and senior management  
• Proven ability to work tight deadlines in an innovative environment 
• Strong commercial and customer focus decision making 
• A detailed but pragmatic approach to project management 
• An electronics or embedded design background would be advantageous
