Head of Electronics
As the selected Head of Electronics, you’ll lead an expert team where you’ll work on the design, architecture and delivery of multi-award winning mission critical hardware supplied globally to a client base across private sector security to through defence and government.
This role is a unique blend of technically challenging work, whilst designing hardware systems that could genuinely save lives.
Responsibilities for the role of Head of Electronics will include:
- Define and lead delivery of hardware development activities for your team
- Provide technical input to projects and review of your teams deliverables
- Liaise with the CTO and Product Managers to support delivery of the product roadmap
- Set and review objectives for your team whilst helping them grow and develop additional skills
- Implement best practice and processes
- Push a positive culture of continuous improvement and collaborative problem solvers
- Work with other development and business teams to support manufacturing activities
- Communicate opportunities and risks to project stakeholders
As the selected Head of Electronics, your skills and experience should include:
- A solid electronics design background with experience and success development products from concept through to delivery
- Hands-on experience defining architecting and designing systems.
- A proven technical manager able to set goals, manage performance and motivate
- Experience delivering solutions to complex problems through a logical process and well versed in the practice of change management
