As the selected Head of Front End Development,you’ll join a truly expert team where you’ll work on the development of next generation platforms to support back-end services, processing, storage, and security for a global client base. You’ll report directly to the VP of Engineering and have full leadership responsibilities for an expert team across two locations, where you’ll play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of front-end applications.  

Responsibilities for the role of Head of Front End Development will include: 

• Manage the team that owns the delivery of front-end applications. 
• Mentor team members, both on and offsite  Work with our development team to architect and implement new features.
• Work with product and design teams to plan and deliver high-quality experiences for users. 
• Help be a driving force for improvements.
• Lead sprint planning and daily team scrums. 

As the selected Head of Front End Development, your skills and experience should include: 

• Hands on leadership experience and success  
• Passionate about mentoring, and up to date with the latest front-end technologies  
• At least 10 years industry experience developing complex front-end applications  
• Strong experience in React and JavaScript  
• Excellent project management and communication skills. 
• Knowledge of modern web application development best practices, frameworks, and tooling. 
• Knowledge of web applications build infrastructure. 
• Knowledge of modern software development lifecycle and associated tools.
